Number of Omega Points Awarded
The number of points depends on the number of teams taking part in that sport in that grade. The formula is: rounding the quotient upon dividing the number of teams taking part by 2. For example, if there are 9 teams taking part, the maximum number of points awarded will be 5.
Division One (or Open Division)
Maximum points awarded to top school is 12.
Division Two
Maximum points awarded is 5.
Division Three
Maximum points awarded is 3.
Note:
Last team in Division One
The last team in each grade in Division One will NOT receive more points than the Runners-up in the same grade in Division Two.
More than one team in Open Grade
In an open graded competition where one school is permitted to enter more than one team, only the most successful of these teams may score for their school for the purpose of Rose Bowls Award.
Equal places in League tables
When two teams tie in the league points for the place for which they tie will be awarded to each team in full.
