(2002/01/09) Prayer Service and Assembly
The whole school attended the New Year Prayer Service and Assembly in two sessions. The theme was "70th Anniversary ... To Energize Our Dedication". The Prayer Service was led by Father Luis Fernando. Then the Principal talked to the School on re-dedication on the 70th Anniversary celebrations and on recent events in the School, including the Student Exchange Program with DBS.
This was the first assembly in many years.
 
 
 
 
Master Peter Leung shared his experience in the APLYC 6 (The 6th Asia Pacific Lasallian Youth Congress held in Australia), in December 2001, with a video show.
 
 
 
After the Prayer Service, it's the Assembly, the first of its kind in LSC for many years.
Bro. Thomas praised the students for their outstanding performances in the Public Examinations and in the Sports Events. He asked the students to take part also in other activities such as Music and Drama. School facilities, such as the Football field and the Gymnasium, would be made avaible to all the students. There was briefing on "Good Student Awards" scheme.
 
Mr. Tong Wun Sing introduced the students who would take part in the Student Exchange Program (15th to 18th January 2002) with DBS to the assembly. Master Wong Yin Wai shared his expectations with the gathering.
