A second Teaching Assistant (Information Technology), Miss Ivy Yip started working in the Staff room, helping teachers, mainly with the use of IT.

[Academic Council] 09/17 Setting up the School Academic Departments
In parallel to the School Pastoral Council (page 45), the School is setting up the Academic Council. This Coucil is made up of two parts, the Functional Committees and the Departments.
There are five Functional Committees: Curriculum, Assessment, Placement, Enhancement and Resources and nine Departments, eight of which correspond to the eight Key Learning Areas proposed by the Curriculum Development in Hong Kong. The 9th Department is Religious Education.

    Department Objectives
  1. Co-ordinate curriculum development whin the Department.
  2. Launch cross-curriculum studies and promote links betweent the different subjects in the Department.
  3. To facilitate sharing of resources with and between Departments.
The Department Co-ordinators were elected on Monday, 17th September 2001.
