(08/20) The Chinese Debate Team entertained the team from Tsuen Wan Government School in 5G classroom this afternoon in the quarter final. The team members and the supporters said a prayer before the match.

(08/17) The Opening Ceremony of the Form 1 Bridging Program, organised by the LSCPTA, was held on this Sunday Morning and would continue for the next week. Almost 100% of the newcomers attended the program. ...details on LSCPTA Bridging Program

 

(08/16) There's renovation work in the School Hall and the New Comers Day took place in the School Gymnasium. It rained quite heavily but it stopped just in time for the outdoor performances. ...more on Newcomers Day page

 
 

(08/16) A Grade team won the 7-a-side Football competition organised by the LSCOBA and the LSC Football Club. The LSCPTA team came second.
A week ago, the Old Boys team from Wah Yan captured the Christian Brothers Cup. Six schools took part.

 

(08/10) Li Kwun Ngai (3G) came first in D grade (88-89) in the 2003 HK Open Table Tennis Age Group Competition and Chan Yun Hang (2C) came fourth in the same grade. Kock Chak Nam (4D) captured 4th spot in E grade (85-87).
Three weeks ago, Pun Kim Fung (1F) won the C grade (90-92) champion and Dong Tsun Wah (1F) came 6th.

 

(08/06) Under the statue of St. John Baptist de La Salle,
top Form 5 students showed off their HKCEE results: Ho Pui Fung (middle) 10 A's. Six students scored 9 A's, (from right to left) Wong Shun Wah, Yip Wing Yu, Choi Hon Keung, Wong Wing Hong, Au Yeung Kwok Him and Wong Ho Yuen.
288 boys scored a total of 500 A's, a new record in the History of La Salle College.

 

(08/02) Over 200 Form 5 students and parents attended the Guidance on HKCEE results gathering. Teachers talked on the preparations for different scenarios. Students took part in a mock exercise on filling in the Form 6 application forms for different streams offered. The meeting started at 2 pm and ended at 5 pm.

(07/26) Pun Kin Fung (1F) was crowned the Champion in the 2003 HK Open Table Tennis Age Group Competitions and his classmate Dong Tsun Wah (1F) came 6th in the same age group, C Grade, 1990-1992. 284 boys took part.

 

(07/24) Yeung Kai Sing (6C) won Bronze Medal in the International Mathematical Olympiad 2003 held in mid July in Tokyo.

作品的質素非常參差. 初中組 〔無私的奉獻〕 是難得的好作品. 寫出自己與母親的互動, 關懷, 尤其是用直接引述二人的談話內容,來強化大家的關懷, 非動人, 明顯比其他作品勝一籌.

(07/16) The whole school attended the Year End Assembly in two sessions. In the first, Dr. Thomas Fung talked about SARS to the senior boys and in the second, Ms Joanne Buchan distributed Good Student Awards to the junior students. (07/12) Over 200 students and parents, together with the Principal and more than 40 teachers and their families joined the Family Outing organised by the PTA.

(07/12) Expatriates, NETs and visitors from Ireland took time off to practise Gaelic football in the school field this sunny and hot Saturday afternoon.

 
 

(07/11) At the year-end staff dinner, the teachers bid farewell to Ms Joanne Buchan and Ms Monica Leung. The Principal thanked them for their contributions and wished them success in the future. Ms Grace Chan will also leave LSC after the summer holidays.

(07/09) The PTA organised 4 sessions of PhotoImpact courses for over 90 LSPS P6 students in the Computer Room, LG101.

 
 

(07/07) The Opening Ceremony of the Form 4 Consolidation program, organised by the PTA, was held this morning in the School Hall. Over 200 students joined the summer program.

 

(07/05) The PTA Reading Club presented souvenir to the parent tutors and teachers. There were also talks and project presentations.

(07/05) The new format SCMP Student of the Year Awards Prize Presentation Ceremony was held this morning. The winners gave impressive performance. Bruce Tang (6D) was the runner-up in the category, Computer Scientist Award.
