(2002/12/01 10 a.m.) Silver!
In the 4th and last appearance at the 2002 Hong Kong Youth Music Interflows, the young, 1 year-old Chinese Ensemble, broke new grounds in the Music Wonderland. The silver award, for Chinese Orchestra (8 to 25 members), was a big boost not only to the Musical teams but also to the budding cultural groups newly formed within these couple of years.
Teams taking part in this interflow: 16 Secondary Schools.
Prizes awarded: 6 Certificates of Merit, 5 Bronzes, 3 Silvers and 2 Golds.

(2002/11/24 2:30 p.m.) The Wind Band took part in the 2002 Hong Kong Youth Music Inflows: Symphonic Band Contest, the third Musical Group to take part in the Interflows and won the bronze award. A fortnight ago, the Junior String and the Sinfonietta took part in the String Orchestra and the Symphony Orchestra Contests.
Teams taking part in this Interflow: 9 Secondary Schools in the Morning, 15 Secondary Schools in the Afternoon session.
