- Bro. Thomas Lavin with two students led the opening prayer.
- Welcome Address
- Bro. Patrick Tierney, the Bro. Superior in Hong Kong, welcomed Bro. Alvaro, Superior General, and Bro. Victor, General Councillor. He also thanked the preparation committee for a job well done.
- Address by Representative of the Lasallian Family in Hong Kong
- Mr. Nicholas Ng represented the Lasallian Family in Hong Kong and thanked the Lasallian Brothers for providing excellent education to children in the region. He noticed that the number of Brothers in Hong Kong is rapidly decreasing. He asked the Superior General to consider sending more Brothers to Hong Kong to continue the good work.

- Bro. Alvaro reported to the gathering recent activities and developments of the Lasallian movement in the world, particularly in the third world. He appreciated the reception prepared by the Hong Kong Lasallian Schools. At the end of the speech, he noted Mr. Ng's requested of more Brothers.

- Master Wesley Leung knew Bro. Alvaro through his last pilgrimage to Rome. He said the Lasallian Family in Hong Kong is united in faith, zeal and community. He thanked the Brothers and teachers in Lasallian schools. He said, "Good teachers make good students, ..., Good Superiors make good Brothers."
