(2002/09/19) Beginning from September, all Form 1 classes have the Form Teacher's period in the first period on Day 1. Morning Assemblies are scheduled on alternate cycles for them.
The Principal welcomed the new students to the School. The students said the Students' Prayer and sang the song St. Francis' Prayer. Bro. Thomas then asked the students to say The Lord's Prayer in memory of Bro. Francis the former Principal who passed away recently.
Bro. Thomas gave a talk on La Salle Spirit. He started with St. John Baptist and asked the students to refer to the School Diary when he asked them questions about the Founder. He went through the School Song word by word. Students discovered that La Salle Spirit was right there between the lines.
The newly elected SA executive committee was introduced to the newcomers. In the Q&A session, they were wondering why Form 1 students were not allowed to vote and why Form 1 students could not join the SA.
All sang the School Song at the end of the Assembly.
