(2002/11/28) The 4th Morning Assembly began with a pray and a reading from the School Diary led by Mr. Simon Leung.
Miss Robyn Burridge continued with her talk on Building Healthy Peer Relationship. She gave a brief summary of her talk just about a month ago.
She talked about bullying and teasing. Some students, without knowing it themselves, attract teasing in the way they look, the way they walk or the way they talk. It takes a strong person to step away from teasing others. But when they do, they are setting good examples and others may follow. We should try our best to understand and respect one and other.
Miss Burridge read a passage she wrote about her friend Michelle. Three students came forward and read their composition.
- John prepared a poem on "My friend Kent".
- Marco talked about Ideal Friends.
- Jason said, "You are land and your friends are bridges. ..."
Miss Burridge asked the students to start writing similar Prayer Journals with their own ideas.
