(2002/10/02) The Mass for October was the second Memory Mass for Bro. Francis O'Rourke in two days. All the Form 6 and Form 7 students were invited. They were admitted by Bro. Francis in his last two years as the Principal of the School.
The School welcomed back Fr. Bruno to Hong Kong, who co-celebrated the mass with Fr. Jose. In the Homily, he told the gathering stories about Bro. Francis.
At the end of the Mass, Bro. Thomas quoted from the School Song, "... Hearts to conquer every ill." and said that Bro. Francis was a fighter who never gave up the fight against his sickness. Bro. Francis led a well balanced life, having time for work, leisure and service to community.
The Principal asked the Form 7 boys to be brave and to be fighters. The School will pray for their success. He reminded the Form 6 students what he said in the Orientation Camp. They should not spend too much time in extra-curricular activities but should pay attention to their studies.
