(2002/09/13) The SA Presidential Election was held on Friday, 13th September in two sessions. The Form 2 and 3 boys attended the first session at 8:30 am and the Form 4, 5, 6 and 7 boys in the session at 10:30 am.
- The Principal asked the teachers and students to stand and observe a minute of silence in memory of Bro. Francis, the former Principal, who passed away on Monday.
Bro. Thomas said after a year of excitment and triumph, it's time for the students to settle down and pay more attention to L, in LSC. When he asked what did L stand for, the boys answered, Learning.
- The Chairman of the Election Committee, Zhu Binbin (6B) spoke to the gathering followed by the out-going President, Leung Yu Hin Chris (7A).
- The two proposed Presidents had 4 minutes each and the members of the proposed cabinets had 2 minutes each to deliver their speeches.
- The MC told the students the correct way to complete a valid vote.
- Students collected blank forms and lined up to vote.
- Votes were counted at 2:30 pm and announcement of results early next week.

Two cabinets, headed by Chan Chi Wang, Kelly (6D), and Lau Chun Yin, Alfred (6A), started their campaigns today. The Presidential Election of the Student Association began much earlier this year than previous years. Next week, both cabinets will pay class visits.
