Summary of the Principal's speech.
Dedication
Bro. Thomas dedicated the Speech Day to the memory of Bro. Francis, the late former Principal of the School. He said a prayer and asked all to stand and observe a moment of silence.
Welcome the Guest of Honour
Dr. Lawrence Chan is one of the most loyal old boys. He joined La Salle Primary in Class 5 in 1956 and ever since then, he won Scholarships and Awards one after another in School, in the University and in the Medical Profession. He became the President of the LSCOBA from 1976 to 1979.
He is a famous artist in Chinese Calligraphy and Art and has given numerous exhibitions and talks all over the world. On top of all these, he always finds time and helps the working class and the poor. On this, Bro. Thomas referred to IT. Many schools are strong in Information Technology. But there is another meaning to IT: Inspiring Teachers. He asked, "How strong are we in touching minds and hearts?"
