(2003/07/16) The Assembly was divided into two sessions. Form 3, 4 and 6 students took the first session.
Bro. Thomas introduced the guest of honour, Dr. Thomas Fung, an Old Boy and a fresh graduate from the medical school, CUHK. The Principal asked the students to read three books and perform social service in the Summer. Everyone has to write a letter to the Principal in September telling him what they have done in the holidays.
Dr. Thomas Fung told the gathering his story of contracting SARS in Prince of Wales. He talked about the virus and how he survived the ordeal with the help of La Salle Spirit.

The second session was devoted to Form 1 and 2 boys. Ms Joanne Buchan was the guest of honour. Having completed a two year contract, teaching at La Salle College, she and her family are moving back to New Zealand in the summer. She advised the students on how to spend the summer holidays and thank the School for a fruitful experience.
Mr. Jim Sin, Mr. Ng Siu Wing and Ms. Monica Leung entertained the gathering with three Folk songs. The assembly ended with the School Song.
