| (2004/08/26) The opening ceremony of the Joint School Science Exhibition was held at the Exhibition Hall of the Central Library. Mr. S. K. Yip, the Guest of Honour, addressed the gathering.
Fung Kai Man Kenny (6B), the Chairman of the Organisation Committee, delivered the opening speech and presented souvenirs. The theme of the LSC booth: Smart Data-collector.

| (2004/08/20) The Committee members and the Past Presidents of the Old Boys Association paid tribute to Bro. Thomas who handed over the Principalship to Dr. Paul Lau. Bro. Thomas received an old photograph of the Old School Building, estimated to be taken around 1938, and Chinese Caligraphy written by Dr. Au's grand father. Mr. Yik Kwan, the retiring Vice Principal, also received a souvenir.

| (2004/08/18) Tang Chun Bong (6B), Chan Ka Chun (6B) and Ip Pui Lam (6B) took part in the 19th Technical Innovation Competition for National Teenagers held at Chengdu, Sichuan (四川 成都) from 2004/08/18 to 24. They will present their project, Water Purifying System on Friday, 20th August. Mr. Patrick Chan, Chairman of PTA, accompanied the trio and Bro. Thomas will join them in a couple of days.

| (2004/08/15) Almost all the new Form 1 students joined the Form 1 Bridging Program. They attended the Opening Ceremony on this beautiful Sunday morning. | (2004/08/14) Chinese Orchestra and Dominic Ho (6B) accompanied by Dickson Mak performed for the new Form 1 students and their parents in the New Comers Day. Bro. Thomas, the Supervisor, Dr. Lau, the Principal, Mr. Patrick Chan, PTA and Dr. Bernard Kong, OBA addressed the gathering. There were video shows, campus tours, refreshment and product selling.

| (2004/08/11) Students received HKCEE results in the classrooms. Then they proceeded to the Hall to apply for Form 6 places. Lam Sheung Heng (5C) scored 10 A's, Cheng Tsz Chung (5C) 9, Sze Shu Yue (5C), Wong Wane Young (5D) and Kwong Wing Jun (5F) 8.
Total number of A's, 375. This number was less than that of last year. But they said the drop was territory-wide. According to a local newspaper who published the number of A's scored by top schools, La Salle College remained on top of the list. 20 students got 6 or more A's. The cut off score for Form 6 admissions remained the same as last year.

| | (2004/08/07) The 31st Enrollment Ceremony of the HK Red Cross Youth Unit 15 was held in the School Hall. Dr. Paul Lau and Mr. Yik Kwan addressed the gathering. Miss Kitty Ng, District Commander, enrolled the members. This was followed by games, drama and refreshment.

§ Matthew Ng (6B) and Marcus Cheung (6B) took part in the Cathay PacificI Can Fly Program and were awarded trips to overseas aviation infrastructure. Marcus: Toulouse Airbus Production Plant and Matthew: Adelaide BAE Flying School. A total of 100 participants will make these trips in August 2004.
