(2004/08/18) Tang Chun Bong (6B), Chan Ka Chun (6B) and Ip Pui Lam (6B) took part in the All China Science Exhibition & Competition held at Chengdu, Sichuan (四川 成都) from 2004/08/18 to 24. They will present their project, Water Purifying System on Friday, 20th August. Mr. Patrick Chan, Chairman of PTA, accompanied the trio and Bro. Thomas will join them in a couple of days.

| CLP Science Competition - Wise Use of Energy: Today and Tomorrow Final Presenent 2004/08/09
The team: Ryan Li (7B), Li Cho Shan (7B), Jacky Wu (7B) and Otto Ng (7D) presented their project, Electricity from Air - The ALOXY Cell in the final round of 3 teams. The LSC team came second in a close competition.

The event was held on 2004/05/30 with 1150 school nominees participating.
The awardees attended the Prize Giving and Flag Presentation Ceremony on Saturday, 2004/07/10 at HKUST.

| Chemistry Olympiad: Final Round HK Poly U
Tang Chun Pong (Team Captain) together with Chan Ka Chun Jonathan, Chan Kar Vin, Ip Pui Lam & Kan Wai Man (all from 6B) presented their entry: Water Purifying System in a 6-school Final at the HK Poly U.
In the Preliminary Round La Salle College and DGS were selected the Most Popular Team by 12 best teams of students.
The Finalists: La Salle College, Diocesan Girls' School, HK Chinese Women's Club College, Maryknoll Convent School, St. Louis School and Ying Wa College.
In the Final, DGS came first in this Hong Kong Chemistry Olympiad organised by the Science Education Section, EMB.

| INTEL International Science & Engineering Fair 2004/05/09
Last year students in Hong Kong took part in a major internation event, the Intel International Science & Engineering Fair.
The winners in Hong Kong, one team project and one individual project, should have taken part in the Finals in Cleveland, Ohio, from 11th to 17th May 2003. But due to SARS, their trip was delayed for a year.
Three students from La Salle College won the team event. In the first photograph, from right to left, Li Lok Hang (7B), Li Cho Shan (7B) and Wu Chi Hin, Jackey (7B). The theme of their project is Fuel Cell - Energy from air.
In the finals, in May last year, over 1200 High School students from 50 States in USA and more than 40 countries will present over 1000 projects in Cleveland.
This ISEF is the Olympic Games for youngster in Science Competitions.
The photographs were taken on 2004/05/06 during the Press Conference. The trio have left for Portland US on 8th May 2004 and will be back on 19th May.

The Project title: Water Purifying System
La Salle College and Diocesan Girls' School won the "Most Popular Team" award.
Final will be held on 15th May 2004, 9:30 - 12:30, at Jockey Club Auditorium, HK Polytechnic University.
