The La Salle Scouts had the annual investiture on 15 November (Saturday). Brother Thomas, the Sponsoring Authority and Principal, and Mr S H Pau, Chief Commissioner of Hong Kong (designate) and an old boy, officiated at the ceremony. It was an annual event where first-formers took their Scout Promise and be invested as full members of the big family.

Moreover, nine Scouts proceeded to the Venture Scout Unit in a very unique ceremony after having completed their training at the Scout Troop. On the same day, four Venture Scouts re-affirmed their Scout Promise and joined the Rover Scout Crew, which was described by the Rover Scout Leader as the cradle for future Scout leaders.

Badges and prizes were also presented to the Scouts as a recognition of their hard-work and achievements as a Scout member. Among others, three fifth-formers received the Chief Scout's Award, one Venture Scout received the Venture Scout Award while one Rover Scout received the Rover Scout Award.
