- Bro. Thomas told a story of a King who looked for a successor to the throne. He gave children seeds to grow. A boy tried but failed. He brought the empty flower pot to the King who praised him for his honesty. The King had given them bad seeds and he found his successor.
- He thanked Mr. Christian Wan for organising the activities in the HK Schools Music Festival. He asked the members of the winning Chinese Orchestra to come out and introduced them to the gathering.
- He appreciated the cheering and support for the Jing Ying Football match held last Sunday.
- He asked the students to look after their valuables as there were a few cases of stealing, an act of dishonesty.
