- Mr. Chan Tong talked about understanding oneself, setting goals and trying to get there.

- I may not be totally perfect, but parts of me are excellent.
- It's interesting to know that many distinguished people have bodies very similar to mine.

- Mr. Peter Ball shared with the students his experience as a teacher advisor of the School Tennis Team. Four of the team members are from Form 2. They lost the first match. But they practised team work in doubles and won all the matches so far.
- He asked those who took part in the Speech Festival to stand up and congratulated them on their excellent results.
- Ivan Ng (2A) came second (to another La Salle boy) in Prose Reading. He showed the gathering how it was done.
