Homily
Fr. John talked about his school days. He was a student in a school run by the La Salle Brother. The Brothers were good to him and he received the Call to become a Priest. He said it's a special gift to be a student in a good school.
He talked about the Mission of St. John Baptist de La Salle and the establishment of the Christian Schools over the world.
He spoke of the Lasallina Spirituality, the close contact and care of each other in the School. "Be joyful, keep going when the going is tough."
Bro. Thomas' answers to questions from students
When he was young, he played Gaelic football in school.
He studied in a school run by the La Salle Brothers and got to know the Brother very well. Later he learnt more about St. La Salle and decided to join the Brothers.
When he completed his training, there's a chance for him to travel to the Far East. He did not hesitate to take up the challenge and eventually arrived at Hong Kong.
He wished that everyone can be generous and help others, all kinds of people.
The most unforgettable event was the successful appointment of a new Principal. The first Principal at La Salle College that is not a Brother. He looked forward to working with him, Dr. Paul Lau.
Bus arrangement
It rained quite heavily right after the mass. Luckily, there were the buses to take students and teachers back to School to continue with the lessons.
